MUINDI SEMI DI SORRISO ONLUS is an independent association involving a group of friends with a common intent of solidarity, who shared life and travel experiences in Mozambique, in the northern province of Cabo Delgado.

These experiences, aimed at understanding local realities and seeking effective forms of collaboration and help for sustainable development, gave birth to our Association, established at the end of 2006.

The decision to operate in the Cabo Delgado province, and in particular in the city of Pemba, was also inspired by the profound changes in this area, caused by many problems generated by a very fast urbanization.

During our annual missions in Mozambique, the associates contribute to the identification, development and verification of projects, providing with their skills and professional resources an effective, direct and transparent support to the initiatives promoted by the Association.

MUINDI SEMI DI SORRISO ONLUS concentrates its resources on projects aimed at childhood, education, environment, culture and aid to disadvantaged families. In these projects, the Association also intervenes with the construction of infrastructures for local kindergartens and houses.
